What is a sensory unit ?
Wednesday, 27 June 2007What is a sensory unit ?
A sensory unit is a unit comprising one to many sensors. A sensor is considered to be an analog input, an analog output, a digital input, a digital output, TCP/IP camera or a CCTV camera. A sensory unit will comprise any combination of these sensors.
A sensory unit can be mobile or stationary. A Mobile Sensory Unit (MSU) could be self powered, wired/wireless.
A Static Sensory Unit (SSU) is a stationary unit; it can be easily redeployed too just like a printer connected to a print server.
Talk to ETCorp for sensor availability for your specific implementation.
