The world wide leader in Security Automation, Embedded Technologies Corporation (ETCorp), has been awarded a $250,000 Federal Government grant to further develop its growing international markets. The grant will promote technical capability to support sales of the Bentley Technology Park Company’s GPAC SystemTM, the monitor of monitors for physical security devices.

Already in use in sites in Australia, the System is raising considerable interest in security markets in the Middle East, Africa and the United States because of its unique abilities of easy economic deployment while fusing local and remote intelligence functions to provide for best practice.

The Commercial Ready Project, funded by AusIndustry, part of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources, will help bring forward the next development stage for the GPAC System^®. Among other stringent criteria used to award the grant, national benefit was highly considered when AusIndustry decided to fund the GPAC System’s^® next stage of development.

“We are beginning to sign several major overseas contracts and this grant will provide customers with our next generation product faster than originally planned. We are appreciative of the role of AusIndustry in fostering our innovation through their Commercial Ready Program.” CEO Martin Cebis said today.

ETCorp has signed a contract with a major distributor in the UAE and is close to finalizing distribution deals in other Middle Eastern countries. It is negotiating with a number of the world’s leading corporations for the introduction of its product into significant worldwide markets.

From a small start-up company just over three years ago, its patent pending technology allows ETCorp to be a major player in the multi-billion dollar international security and counter terrorism market. The GPAC System^® also has applications in a diffuse array of other markets, including agricultural automation, aquaculture, building automation and industrial control.
