San Diego State's Center for Homeland Security, is part of the Center for Information Technology and Infrastructure, which offers an Interdisciplinary Studies Homeland Security Masters Program. The Center acts as a sensor hub for data fusion and decision support, and generates global geospatial data sets for net-centric delivery in response to natural or man made disasters, as well as training and mitigation of the disasters before they occur. ETCorp were invited to install the GPAC System onto the main server at the Visualization Center and then to host an open day where the product was showcased. ET Corporations CEO, Martin Cebis said, "We are excited to be able to team up with San Diego State University. It is rewarding to work with such a dedicated group who are involved in sourcing breakthrough technology to aid humankind in both disaster situations and the Homeland Security arena. Our GPAC System will enable the staff at SDSU to easily coordinate and remotely manage various international sites which are currently being monitored disparately.” About ET CorporationET Corporation is the provider of the GPAC System which is an innovative Internet based operating system which greatly simplifies the process of automating core business processes involving physical input and output data from sensors, cameras and devices.
