GPAC MSU is a versatile and flexible physical surveillance product. The MSU system facilitates remote monitoring for commercial, military and homeland security applications and is currently being trialled for mobile surveillance in Law Enforcement vehicles.
By bundling COTS hardware products from specialist suppliers we have created an integrated and portable surveillance unit suitable for applications like graffiti & vandalism preemption, industrial security and border security. GPAC Mobile is THE easiest, fastest and most cost effective way to expand your surveillance network as demands grow.
The GPAC MSU is a pre-packaged unit which has been designed specifically for organizations that require portable surveillance at locations where the installation of fixed cameras is not cost effective (No digging, cabling or wiring involved).
The GPAC Mobile bundle includes multiple sensing and camera options and whilst we do have a standard MSU package we are able to customise to your specific needs.
GPAC MSU is flexible in application and makes reconfiguring your devices fast and easy. The package options for GPAC MSU include multiple third-party sensors to deliver a dynamic remote sensing solution:
- Robust day/night network video cameras
- PIR Movement detection sensors
- Gas sensors
- Temperature sensors
- Pressure sensors
- CBRN sensors
Being a flexible and robust surveillance unit, the GPAC MSU:
- Can accommodate multiple sensor packages
- Can be portable or fixed
- Is compatible with wired and wireless networks for data transmission
- Can utilize a variety of power sources, even solar
- Can be used as a stand-alone system or integrated into an existing network
The GPAC MSU gives you the ability to rapidly integrate, intelligently process, and seamlessly transmit remote sensor data for enterprise monitoring purposes, whether this be for security, situational awareness or research purposes.

The GPAC BAS System is designed to specifically optimize the control and performance of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) equipment and alarm systems. As the GPAC is an open, standards based control system, clients are not limited to using hardware from one specific vendor, but can select from “best-of-breed” devices.
GPAC BAS gives clients the flexibility to coordinate and organize building control sub-systems such as security, Access Control, fire safety and elevators. The GPAC BAS can be installed by a licensed electrician and is thus less expensive to design and implement than proprietary systems, is easily upgraded and is infinitely more adaptable for the end user.
GPAC-BAS applications include:
- Alarm reporting (triggered with sensors)
- Operator reconfiguring device dependencies/relationships
- Monitoring (staff access/security movements/operator log on/energy use)
- Scheduling (turning devices on/off)
Embedded Technologies can supply you with a turn-key BAS solution which allows your facilities manager to control several buildings from any central (local/remote) location. The GPAC-BAS allows you to exploit the latest technological advancements available, while integrating legacy systems, WITHOUT locking you into a contract restricting you to a closed proprietary market.

GPAC Force has been developed specifically for Wide Area situational awareness (surveillance) for remote and local military applications. The military is currently developing Network Centric Warfare tactics to enhance integration, responsiveness and the efficacy in complex warfighting environments. Modern military operations require us to quickly gather information from a wide variety of sources and process it into useful data for our decision makers and warfighters.
In recent years the heightened focus on security has spawned an effort to raise awareness within the military of commercially available technologies suitable for Defence applications. The Perry Initiative in 1994 also provided a top-down directive for the US defense industry to use the benefits of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) technology as a cost reduction plan in military programs. GPAC Force is the platform that supports this directive.
The GPAC Force is a situational awareness system which enables non technical personnel to set up and "program" a fully automated and integrated sensor-camera network in military situations. The system can be built using entirely commercial-off-the-shelf hardware. The types of devices or sensors connected may include unattended ground sensors, CBRN, movement, sound and biometric devices and combines these with digital surveillance cameras to provide accurate real-time situational awareness, persistent intelligence and remote security.
In addition to situational awareness the GPAC Force also improves support for collaboration between intelligence gathering organizations and analysts. System operation has a minimal learning curve and can be installed by a licensed electrician.
Essentially, our GPAC Force is the glue between your devices in the field and your people on the ground.
Other features and benefits of GPAC Force include:
- Scalability - from one local site to global deployment
- Open Standards based to enable interoperability with current technology advancements
- Military grade reliability (lives are at stake)
- Highly predictable response times
- Plug and play technology
- Reusable software and hardware
- Real time event activated
